Aero Thermal Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a remote Aero Thermal Engineer, this full-time position will manage thermal and CFD analysis for gas turbine components, lead geometry development for analysis models, and prepare high-quality presentations of findings.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform thermal and CFD analysis for gas turbine components and turbomachinery
- Lead the development of geometry and mesh for analysis models, including model setup and analysis
- Prepare and present reports on findings during formal technical reviews
Required qualifications:
- 4-8 years of experience in CFD Analysis, Aero-Thermal, and Secondary Airflow Systems
- BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
- Familiarity with fluid dynamics and heat transfer theory
- Experience with Star-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent, or CFX is highly preferred
- Exposure to gas turbines is highly preferred
