AI App Lead
Job Summary
Leading the architecture and hands-on delivery of AI-powered applications, the full-time AI App Lead will design and implement LLM, RAG, and agentic systems using Databricks, Python, and React while managing a team of engineers in a flexible work-from-home environment.
Key responsibilities
- Leads the end-to-end architecture of AI solutions, ensuring alignment from data ingestion to user interface
- Designs and builds data and ML pipelines on Databricks, integrating Delta Lake and MLflow
- Architects and contributes to React front ends for AI experiences, ensuring secure and efficient delivery through REST APIs
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in AI/ML systems and generative AI
- Advanced proficiency in Python, including production services and async programming
- Hands-on experience with Databricks Lakehouse, including Delta Lake and MLflow
- Strong React skills with TypeScript, focusing on component architecture and real-time UIs
- Deep understanding of LLMs, RAG architectures, and scalable distributed systems
