AI Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support innovative projects focused on M365 Enterprise Copilot, the remote contract AI Data Engineer will design and maintain scalable backend systems, data pipelines, and synthetic data generation platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy reliable synthetic data generation workflows and scalable data pipelines
• Architect efficient data models, storage solutions, and retrieval mechanisms for large-scale datasets
• Create automated validation frameworks and quantitative checks to profile system performance and maintain high data quality

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software or data engineering experience using languages like Python, Spring Boot, or .NET
• Extensive experience building, scaling, and operating cloud-based data pipelines and ETL workflows
• Practical experience working with LLMs, AI APIs, and designing output evaluation or quality frameworks
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, orchestration, and large-scale data storage/retrieval patterns
• Willingness to maintain core overlapping hours with US Pacific Time
