AI Data Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the AI Data Engineer will leverage advanced AI solutions and automation to modernize enterprise portfolio planning and operational reporting, transforming manual data processes into real-time interactive visual dashboards.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate existing operational workflows and implement AI-driven automation to reduce manual effort and data friction
- Aggregate and integrate complex dataset sources into single sources of truth with automated refresh and governance
- Design, deploy, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards alongside generative-AI capabilities for automated reporting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics automation
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building production generative-AI solutions
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and client Power Platform
- Solid experience with SQL, Python, and Azure DevOps APIs/OData
