AI Developer/Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the Senior AI Developer/Engineer, the full-time remote AI Developer/Engineer will design, develop, and enhance AI and machine learning capabilities to improve internal operations and staff productivity through the creation of prototypes and staff-facing tools.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver enhancements, prototypes, and internal tools that improve staff efficiency and consumer support
- Collaborate with business owners and technical teams to gather requirements and translate needs into implementable AI/ML solutions
- Develop and enhance internal AI-enabled applications using Streamlit and related web frameworks for workflow automation and analytics
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of software engineering or data engineering experience, including building production Java applications
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML or generative AI through professional work or projects
- Experience building lightweight web apps or APIs using Streamlit, FastAPI/Flask, or similar frameworks
- Working knowledge of AWS and experience with PostgreSQL/Aurora/RDS preferred
- Understanding of secure software development and handling sensitive data; bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) preferred
