AI Development Lead

Job Summary

Leading a small team of AI developers, the full-time Associate Director, AI Development Lead will advance enterprise AI capabilities by designing and implementing end-to-end machine learning and Generative AI solutions, while collaborating with stakeholders to shape AI strategy and governance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy end-to-end machine learning and Generative AI solutions, ensuring production-grade standards and technical quality
• Mentor team members through code reviews and technical guidance, establishing clear priorities and quality expectations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate AI use cases, prioritize initiatives, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field; advanced degree preferred
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in AI, machine learning, or data science; 10+ years preferred
• Hands-on experience in building and deploying machine learning and Generative AI solutions
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry strongly preferred
