AI Engineer

Job Summary

Building and evaluating an omnichannel AI agent for P&C carriers, the full-time remote AI Engineer will manage the agent's architecture, run evaluation loops, and improve system accuracy while working directly with voice interactions and analyzing production call traces.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end slices of the AI agent, including prompt and context architecture, tool and API integrations, and human handoff processes
• Build and manage the evaluation loop, including error analysis and performance metrics to inform release decisions
• Enhance containment and resolution rates while maintaining accuracy, and analyze real production call traces for actionable insights

Required qualifications

• Experience in building and deploying AI applications, particularly with LLMs and context engineering
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including knowledge of data stores, distributed systems, and CI/CD processes
• Proficiency in working with coding agents and adapting workflows based on evolving tools
• Ability to contribute to product development discussions with a solid understanding of insurance context
• Commitment to continuous learning in a rapidly evolving field
