AI Engineer
Job Summary
To support a long-term project with a major technology client, the full-time remote AI Engineer will design and build AI-powered applications, integrate LLM capabilities with enterprise tools, and deliver scalable AI solutions in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-powered applications and agent-based systems using modern LLM technologies
- Implement integrations between AI systems and external tools, APIs, and enterprise platforms
- Troubleshoot and support AI-enabled services in production, improving system reliability
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering, backend engineering, or applied AI engineering
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications or integrating LLM capabilities into production systems
- Experience designing or building AI agents and multi-step orchestration workflows
- Strong understanding of system design, APIs, and distributed systems
