AI Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the AI Engineer will build, train, and evaluate machine learning models, focusing on reinforcement learning and collaborating with domain experts to enhance healthcare data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture specialized knowledge from domain experts and represent it in structured formats
• Analyze datasets for quality and consistency while resolving issues with stakeholders
• Design reinforcement learning environments and train language models using various optimization methods

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, machine learning, statistics, or a related field; MS or PhD preferred
• 3+ years of hands-on experience training or fine-tuning language models
• Demonstrated experience in reinforcement learning, including environment and reward function design
• Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch, including familiarity with the Hugging Face ecosystem
• Experience with healthcare data or in a highly regulated industry is highly preferred
