AI Engineer

Job Summary

Building and evaluating AI applications, the full-time remote AI Engineer II will manage the development of an omnichannel AI agent for P&C carriers, focusing on prompt architecture, context management, and performance evaluation to enhance claim processing efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end components of the AI agent, including prompt and context architecture and integration with core claims systems
• Build and operate evaluation loops, conduct error analysis, and ensure system accuracy while increasing containment and resolution rates
• Engage directly with voice systems, managing latency and interaction dynamics while analyzing real production call data for improvements

Required qualifications

• Experience in building and deploying AI applications, particularly with LLMs and context engineering
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including knowledge of data stores, distributed systems, and CI/CD processes
• Proficiency with coding agents, including managing context and optimizing workflows as tooling evolves
• Ability to contribute to product development discussions, requiring product sense and familiarity with insurance workflows
