Job Summary
Building and shipping LLM-powered features and agentic workflows, the full-time AI Engineer will automate claims processes and ensure trustworthiness through robust design and coding practices, working either remotely or from the Chicago office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ship LLM-powered features and workflows in Python and TypeScript, collaborating with product managers and data scientists
- Write evaluations, guardrails, and feedback loops to ensure feature reliability and performance metrics
- Maintain and extend NLP pipelines that convert unstructured claim data into actionable structured data
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, including shipping and operating at least one LLM-powered feature in production
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with experience in typed, tested, and asynchronous coding
- Experience designing evaluations for LLM output and implementing guardrails
- Familiarity with message- or event-driven architectures and long-running workflows
- Experience with data modeling across relational, document, and graph databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB
