AI Engineer

Job Summary

Building and shipping production agents and automated workflows, the full-time AI Engineer will work remotely in the United States, collaborating with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Solution Architecture to create efficient, data-driven solutions for business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ship production agents and automated workflows from a prioritized backlog, managing the entire process from scoping to deployment and monitoring
• Establish the data foundation in Databricks, creating Unity Catalog tables, Lakeflow pipelines, and integrating data from various systems
• Work with Data Science to measure agent quality through evaluation sets, tracking accuracy and latency, and implementing failure alerts

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software or data engineering experience, with strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience building and shipping at least one LLM-powered application or agent for real users
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or a comparable lakehouse, or significant data engineering expertise
• Proficiency in integrating SaaS and internal systems through REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
