Job Summary
As a full-time remote AI Engineer, the successful candidate will build and ship production agents and automated workflows, collaborating with data engineering and data science teams to create reliable data foundations and measurable agent quality.
Key responsibilities
- Ship production agents and automated workflows from a prioritized backlog, managing the entire process from scoping to deployment
- Build the data foundation in Databricks, integrating various systems and ensuring trusted data access for business teams
- Work with Data Science to establish metrics for agent quality, including evaluation sets and performance tracking
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software or data engineering experience, with strong Python and SQL skills
- Experience building and shipping at least one LLM-powered application or agent for real users
- Hands-on experience with Databricks or a comparable lakehouse, with a strong data engineering background
- Experience integrating SaaS and internal systems using REST APIs and webhooks
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
