AI Engineer, Forward Deployed
Job Summary
Working full-time in Chicago, IL, the AI Engineer, Forward Deployed will design, build, and ship production AI solutions on the Claude platform, collaborating with Client teams to develop integrations and workflows while ensuring solutions meet production readiness standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Build agents and workflows using the Claude API and Agent SDK, ensuring integration with Client systems
- Develop end-to-end retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and connect Claude solutions to enterprise data platforms
- Collaborate with Client stakeholders to gather requirements, demo progress, and train users on deployed solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or analytics engineering
- 1+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying generative AI or LLM-powered solutions
- Strong Python or TypeScript skills and experience with the Claude API
- Experience working in at least one major cloud environment (Azure preferred)
