AI Engineer - Model Training

Job Summary

To support a growing technology practice, the full-time remote AI Engineer - Model Training will define and manage the end-to-end model training strategy for AI products, fine-tune large language models, and optimize data pipelines for training data management.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the model training strategy across AI products, including traditional AI/ML models and large language models
• Train, evaluate, and tune AI/ML models while optimizing data pipelines for ingestion and feature engineering
• Establish data governance practices and build reproducible training pipelines with effective experiment tracking

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree in ML, AI, or Data Science preferred
• 12 or more years of experience in AI/ML engineering, applied ML, or data engineering with hands-on model training experience
• Strong hands-on experience in training and fine-tuning traditional AI/ML models and large language models
• Proficiency with ML/DL frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers
• Experience building and operating large-scale data pipelines and platforms like Spark or Ray
