AI-Focused Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building and shipping AI-powered products, the full-time hybrid AI-Focused Software Engineer will implement features across the AI stack, including model integration and retrieval pipelines, while collaborating with senior engineers to enhance technical ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Build, test, and ship features for production AI systems, including retrieval-augmented generation pipelines and model orchestration components
• Write and maintain evaluation cases and test suites to ensure AI system quality before deployment
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Science teams to translate requirements into functional software

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience in building and shipping production software
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Java, Go, C#)
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into applications through professional work, internships, or substantial personal projects
• Working knowledge of core backend fundamentals, including REST APIs, databases, and version control
• Curiosity about AI systems and a willingness to measure results rather than make assumptions
