AI Licensing Lead

Job Summary

Leading the development and negotiation of complex AI licensing agreements, the full-time AI Licensing Lead will focus on establishing sustainable revenue streams from academic content while managing relationships with major AI companies and technology platforms, with the option to work remotely from the East Coast.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, structuring, and negotiation of AI/content licensing agreements
• Develop and manage relationships with key industry players and identify new licensing opportunities
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement agreements and drive internal alignment on deal structures

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in business development and licensing, particularly in the AI or technology sectors
• Strong negotiation skills with a background in structuring complex agreements
• Experience managing relationships with large enterprises and technology companies
• Knowledge of intellectual property rights and licensing in the context of AI
• Ability to provide market insights to shape licensing strategies
