AI/ML Engineer Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

To support advanced AI initiatives, the remote W2 contract AI/ML Engineer Senior Technical Lead will develop and implement machine learning models for healthcare applications, build end-to-end ML pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI models for RCM use cases, including claim outcome prediction and workflow optimization
• Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines, ensuring model training, validation, and monitoring are effectively executed
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to derive insights and translate operational requirements into measurable model objectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• 3-7+ years of hands-on experience developing ML or AI models in an applied industry setting, preferably in healthcare
• Strong proficiency in Databricks, Python (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, TensorFlow, MLflow), and SQL
• Experience working in Azure or similar cloud environments, including Azure Databricks and Azure Machine Learning
• Strong working knowledge of GitHub Copilot or equivalent AI coding assistant to enhance development efficiency
