AI Model Risk Validator

Job Summary

Serving as the independent validator of AI Systems, the full-time AI Model Risk Validation Specialist will perform technical assessments, model risk evaluations, and ongoing monitoring of AI/ML models in a remote capacity, ensuring compliance with governance and risk management practices.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent validation of AI/ML models, focusing on design, data quality, and performance metrics
• Evaluate key model risks, including bias, explainability, and alignment with regulatory expectations
• Lead ongoing monitoring of predictive models to identify drift, stability issues, and recommend corrective actions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, model risk management, or AI/ML validation
• Experience with predictive models in regulated environments, preferably in insurance or financial services
• Strong understanding of machine learning models, evaluation methodologies, and bias concepts
• Familiarity with NAIC AI Model Bulletin and NIST AI RMF
• Ability to translate technical findings into business and risk implications
