To support the development of AI-driven systems, the contractor-based AI Platform Engineer Lead will design and implement frameworks for AI coding agents, focusing on enterprise engineering collaboration in a hybrid work environment based in Chicago or Philadelphia.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement structured agent harnesses and orchestration frameworks for AI coding agents across enterprise codebases
- Develop architectural constraints and guardrails, including dependency rules and validation tests
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI-driven development workflows into CI/CD pipelines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or AI engineering
- 3+ years as a technical lead
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with AI coding agents in real-world development environments
- 1+ year of experience with agent orchestration or multi-agent frameworks
