Job Summary
Driving current-quarter delivery while building future operating systems, the full-time AI Project Manager will manage technology program execution and business operations for Smartech AI, focusing on the deployment of AI software in wood panel mills, all within a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own quarterly commitments across engineering, R&D, and customer delivery, managing scope, schedules, and stakeholder reporting
- Lead coordinated planning across multiple technical teams, translating priorities into executable plans with clear milestones
- Establish and run the operating cadence for the business, including planning cycles and decision tracking
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience managing complex technology projects from initiation through delivery
- Demonstrated success in leading coordinated planning across multiple engineering or technical teams
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
- Experience delivering and integrating manufacturing software in plant environments, particularly MES and MOM/MOS platforms
- Proven experience in building KPIs and dashboards for executive decision-making
