AI Public Relations Associate

Job Summary

Leading the evolution of public relations through AI, the full-time AI Public Relations Associate will design and deploy AI-powered tools to enhance media relations and content development while improving UoPeople's global visibility and reputation.

Key responsibilities:

• Support public relations initiatives using AI tools to strengthen media engagement and global visibility
• Conduct AI-enabled research to identify emerging stories, media opportunities, and relevant trends in higher education and technology
• Assist in developing press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership content aligned with UoPeople's mission

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, AI, Data Science, or a related field; students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• 0-2 years of experience in public relations, strategic communications, or related fields; internship experience is acceptable
• Completed coursework or practical training in generative AI, prompt engineering, or emerging technologies
• Demonstrated interest in AI-powered communications and media relations, with strong written and verbal English skills
• Ability to apply AI knowledge through practical projects; experience in higher education or nonprofit sectors is a plus
