AI Quality Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of quality engineers, the full-time remote AI Quality Engineering Manager will focus on enhancing software quality through AI-powered test automation, regression efficiency, and release quality practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of quality engineers and testers, setting priorities and goals aligned with quality outcomes
• Drive the use of AI tools for designing, generating, and executing automated tests across various workflows, improving automation speed and maintainability
• Support release quality processes by enhancing quality signals, risk assessments, and operational discipline to ensure software delivery consistency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 7+ years of experience in software QA, quality engineering, or test automation, with 2+ years in people management or team leadership
• Strong hands-on experience in building and scaling automated tests across API, UI, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Experience with AI assistants to enhance test automation efficiency and quality engineering workflows
• Proficiency in AI coding assistants and general-purpose LLMs, with skills in prompt engineering for quality engineering workflows
