Job Summary
To support an AI evaluation project focused on scientific peer review, the remote freelance AI Research Peer Review Evaluator will evaluate AI-generated peer reviews against expert human reviews of ML/AI research papers, requiring a strong background in Machine Learning or AI.
Key responsibilities
- Read and analyze ML/AI research papers to understand their contributions and methodologies
- Evaluate AI-generated peer reviews against established expert baselines using a structured scoring rubric
- Identify inaccuracies and provide evidence-based rationales for evaluation decisions
Required qualifications
- Master's, PhD, or current graduate study in Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience contributing to at least one scientific/research paper, ideally as a first author
- Familiarity with major ML/AI research venues, such as NeurIPS, ICML, or CVPR
- Prior academic peer-review experience, preferably for ML/AI conferences or journals
