Job Summary
To support an advanced AI research evaluation project, experienced ML/AI researchers will find a remote, project-based contractor opportunity focused on critically assessing AI-generated research papers for technical correctness, scientific novelty, and overall research quality.
Key responsibilities
- Critically evaluate AI-generated ML/AI research papers for scientific contributions and technical correctness
- Assess the novelty and significance of proposed approaches compared to existing state-of-the-art research
- Provide structured, evidence-based assessments of research quality, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and critical technical concerns
Required qualifications
- PhD in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent research expertise
- At least 3 peer-reviewed publications at NeurIPS, ICML, and/or ICLR, with significant contributions
- Substantial hands-on ML/AI research experience, including developing methods and analyzing results
- Strong understanding of scientific methodology and experimental rigor
- Experience reviewing research papers for top-tier ML/AI conferences or journals, preferably NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR
