AI Security Architect Consultant

Job Summary

To lead enterprise AI security initiatives, the remote Consulting Director - AI Security Architect will evaluate, design, and validate secure architectures for AI systems while collaborating with Engineering, Cloud Security, and Governance teams to implement robust security controls on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical security design reviews for AI/ML, GenAI, and LLM implementations
• Perform technical threat modeling and risk assessments on AI systems and data pipelines using established frameworks
• Develop technology evaluation criteria for RFIs/RFPs and validate AI security solutions through hands-on proofs-of-concept

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on information security experience, including public cloud security (AWS, Google Cloud)
• Direct experience conducting security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and technical risk assessments
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML and LLM security concepts, threat models, and defensive controls
• Proven ability to write technical evaluation criteria and translate complex risks into clear engineering requirements
