AI Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Managing multiple aspects of AI information security operations, the contract AI Security Operations Engineer will focus on securing AI/ML systems and infrastructure, contributing to incident response, playbook development, and operational engineering in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks specific to AI/ML security threats, including prompt injection and model poisoning
• Monitor and secure generative AI systems and large language models within environments, ensuring operational integrity and availability of security tooling
• Collaborate with IT and AI/ML teams to design effective Information Security Operations and contribute to AI governance frameworks

Required qualifications

• Experience in managing security operations and engineering for AI/ML systems
• Proficiency in developing security requirements, standards, and procedures for AI technologies
• Knowledge of AI/ML security threats and incident response strategies
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and compliance standards
• Ability to analyze security implications of new AI/ML tools before deployment
