AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To redefine security in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will own the end-to-end security strategy, engineering, and operations, focusing on building AI security capabilities while maintaining a robust security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Oversee security engineering efforts, including AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives and security diligence for fundraising and customer engagements, ensuring compliance and technical controls are met

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during hypergrowth or major fundraising processes
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity management and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
• Genuine conviction and knowledge in AI security, including prompt injection and model-mediated data exfiltration
