AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations at a growing AI-native company, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build and oversee AI security functions, manage security engineering, and ensure enterprise trust while collaborating with senior leadership in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the AI security function, including the development of internal AI gateways and agent identity models
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Oversee enterprise security operations, ensuring compliance and trust artifacts that facilitate enterprise sales and fundraising efforts

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Proven track record in building new security functions from the ground up
• Experience managing corporate IT aspects, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
