AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time salaried AI Security Vice President, this role will own end-to-end security strategy, engineering, and operations, focusing on establishing a robust AI security function while maintaining existing security standards in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the AI security function, including internal AI gateway implementation and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap and automated response playbooks
• Oversee enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer security reviews, while managing corporate IT security operations

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably during hypergrowth and fundraising processes
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Deep understanding of AI security challenges, including prompt injection and data exfiltration
• Executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
