AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and manage the company's AI security function, enhance security engineering practices, and oversee corporate IT operations while collaborating closely with senior leadership and enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the AI security function, including creating an internal AI gateway and hardening consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a roadmap for secure design and automated response strategies
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives and security operations, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI requirements while facilitating enterprise sales processes

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Deep understanding of AI security challenges, including prompt injection and data exfiltration
• Ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership and manage enterprise security reviews
