AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will develop and implement security strategies, engineering, and operations while managing a team to address emerging AI threats in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including building an internal AI gateway and hardening consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Oversee security engineering efforts, driving secure design principles and enhancing detection engineering across the organization
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards while facilitating customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, particularly during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
• Comfortable managing corporate IT aspects as part of the security mission
