AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and oversee the AI security function, manage security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while collaborating with senior leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecArch, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Own the security narrative for fundraising and enterprise sales, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Deep technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Strong understanding of AI security challenges, including prompt injection and model-mediated data exfiltration
• Executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
