AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead security initiatives in an AI-focused environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build and oversee AI security functions, manage security engineering teams, and enhance operational security while ensuring compliance and trust with enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of internal AI gateways and security protocols
• Oversee security engineering teams, driving initiatives in application security, operations, and cloud security
• Manage enterprise trust and compliance efforts, including SOC 2 and PCI controls, while supporting fundraising and customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of significant growth
• Strong technical knowledge of AI security, cloud-native security frameworks, and security engineering practices
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Excellent executive presence and communication skills for engaging with boards and enterprise clients
