AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time salaried AI Security Vice President, this role will own the end-to-end security strategy, engineering, and operations at Engine, focusing on establishing AI security capabilities while maintaining a strong security posture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including building an internal AI gateway and hardening consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Oversee security engineering teams, driving initiatives in application security, security architecture, and cloud security
• Manage enterprise trust and readiness for funding, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards while building trust artifacts for enterprise sales

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles, particularly during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Ability to engage with executive leadership and enterprise customers effectively
• Familiarity with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
