AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations at Engine, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build and oversee AI security functions, manage security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while working closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the AI security function, including internal AI gateways and agent identity models
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving the security roadmap and ensuring secure operations
• Oversee enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer security reviews, while maintaining compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tools
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience in managing corporate IT, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
