AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and manage the company's AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and drive enterprise trust initiatives, all while working closely with senior engineering leadership in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement the internal AI security function, including agent identity management and prompt abuse detection
• Lead security engineering teams across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust and compliance efforts, ensuring security diligence for fundraising and customer engagements

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, particularly in high-growth environments
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
• Familiarity with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
