AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To define and lead AI security initiatives, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build a comprehensive AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and manage corporate IT, all while ensuring robust security measures and compliance for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the AI security function, including an internal AI gateway and agent identity model, while enhancing consumer-facing AI security measures
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap and automated response playbooks
• Manage enterprise trust and readiness for funding, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards, and streamline customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience in managing corporate IT functions, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
