AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations at Engine, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish an AI security function, oversee security engineering, and enhance operational security while ensuring compliance and trust for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI security measures, including internal AI gateways and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering initiatives across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust and security compliance, facilitating customer security reviews and supporting fundraising efforts

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical background in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec practices
• Proven ability to build new security functions and teams from the ground up
• Experience with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
