AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and oversee security strategies, engineering, and operations while enhancing the company's security posture in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement the internal AI security function, including controlled egress and identity management for AI agents
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving secure design and automated response initiatives
• Oversee enterprise trust and compliance efforts, ensuring security diligence for fundraising and customer engagements

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with 5+ years in leadership roles, particularly during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise clients
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements related to security
