AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and manage the AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and enhance enterprise trust while collaborating closely with senior leadership in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement the internal AI security function, including controlled egress for AI usage and robust identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, ensuring secure design and automated response capabilities
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer security reviews, while maintaining compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven track record of building new security functions from the ground up
• Experience managing corporate IT functions, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Excellent executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
