AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time salaried AI Security Vice President, this role will manage the end-to-end security strategy, engineering, and operations, focusing on building AI security capabilities while maintaining the organization's security fundamentals.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and agent identity model
• Oversee security engineering teams, driving initiatives in AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while enhancing security operations
• Manage enterprise trust and readiness for funding, including customer security reviews and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with 5+ years in leadership roles, preferably during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Demonstrated executive presence and ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers
• Current knowledge and conviction regarding AI security challenges and solutions
