AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will oversee the development of security strategies and operations, manage security engineering teams, and ensure enterprise trust while working closely with senior leadership in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including building an internal AI gateway and hardening consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Manage security engineering teams, driving initiatives in application security, security architecture, and cloud security
• Oversee enterprise trust and readiness for fundraising, ensuring compliance with security standards and managing customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably in high-growth environments
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern security tooling
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Proven ability to engage with executive teams and manage corporate IT security
• Genuine conviction and knowledge about AI security challenges and solutions
