AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build and manage the AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while collaborating with senior leadership and representing security to the executive team and board.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the implementation of internal AI gateways and agent identity management
• Direct security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec while driving the security roadmap and operational practices
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer security reviews, while maintaining compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, particularly with AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up, rather than just managing existing ones
• Experience in securing AI or LLM products at scale is a plus
• Executive presence with the capability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
