AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time salaried AI Security Vice President, this role will manage the end-to-end security strategy, engineering, and operations, focusing on building AI security capabilities while maintaining existing security functions in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including building an internal AI gateway and hardening consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Oversee security engineering teams, driving initiatives such as secure-by-design intake and automated response playbooks
• Manage enterprise trust and readiness for fundraising, including customer security reviews and compliance controls

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during hypergrowth or major fundraising processes
• Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers
• Familiarity with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
