AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To redefine security in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will lead the establishment of AI security functions, oversee security engineering operations, and enhance enterprise trust while managing corporate IT responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement the internal AI security function, including controlled egress and identity management for AI agents
• Lead security engineering teams focused on application security, operations, and cloud security, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer reviews, while ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern application security tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience managing corporate IT functions, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
