AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy for an AI-native company, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish a robust AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while managing corporate IT responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering teams, driving initiatives in application security, cloud security, and operational security
• Manage enterprise trust and compliance efforts, including SOC 2 and PCI controls, while supporting fundraising and customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern application security tools
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive teams and manage enterprise customer security reviews
• Current knowledge and conviction about AI security challenges and solutions
