AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations at Engine, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish a new AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while managing corporate IT responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering teams and drive the roadmap for secure-by-design practices and automated response playbooks
• Manage enterprise security narrative for fundraising and customer reviews, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience in securing AI or LLM products is a plus
• Executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
