AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and manage the AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and enhance enterprise trust while collaborating closely with senior leadership in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI security strategies, including the creation of an internal AI gateway and robust identity management
• Lead security engineering teams, driving initiatives in application security, cloud security, and operational security
• Enhance operational security measures and manage customer security reviews to support enterprise trust and readiness for funding rounds

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during significant growth phases
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern application security tools
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
• Deep understanding of AI security challenges, including prompt injection and data exfiltration risks
