AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will develop and manage comprehensive security strategies, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while working closely with senior leadership in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the implementation of an internal AI gateway and robust security measures for consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Direct security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving initiatives like secure-by-design intake and automated response playbooks
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer reviews, while maintaining compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, particularly in high-growth environments
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Proven ability to engage with executive leadership and manage corporate IT functions
• Current knowledge of AI security challenges, including prompt injection and data exfiltration risks
